Same car that Tanner Foust drives. I heard if you wanted to buy one expect to pay $250,000 for the priveledge and Ford would make no money at that price.
I think to comply with the a lot of the rally regs, the car has to start from a production car. So, it should have a vin and all the stuff needed to register it. Now, it might not pass emissions testing or inspection.
The Subarus where production cars that where striped down to the chassis and rebuilt.

The cars sold by M-cars are road registered in the UK so are fully compliant(ish) with emmisions etc. Getting spares or serviced with permanent 4WD and a 6 speed Xtrac gearbox may prove more difficult outisde Europe though
Barker its says in there that the car isn't the greatest in traffic. Meaning the car will really load up and run like crap. The STI's in no way can run on the street for the same reason. 2 years ago I went to a Subie event in Ill. Actually got to me Block when he was still driving the Subaru. The question was asked if it was road worthy??? He laughed and said as long as it can see 8 grand on the tach.lol
