Heard about that on a radio talk show this morning. Crazy. According to them it went through a brick wall and skipped over a hill before going into the neighborhood. Again, crazy. |

Hopefully the production's insurance kicks in to take care of this. It sucks, but accidents happen no matter how prepared one may be. I'd hate to see a such a fun show get shut down over this. |

I always like how they say "we wanted to..., but our insurance company said no". They may find themselves saying that a lot more in the future. |

Really glad nobody was hurt. It would make a great episode. But you know they will lawyer up and clam up. (and commute much further for tests from now on) |

I have been on that range ! depending on where they launched it from .... easily ballistics a quarter mile off post ! the town ridge almost glitters like a disco ball with all the metal in the side of the enmbankments. Good times, since I was there; Arlen Ness and Co put up their big show room about a quarter mile the other direction.... Next on MythBusters.... biker build blow up ! |

I enjoy it, but often cringe when watching that show. It's very poor science at best. I hope people watching it don't buy into the claim that it's a "science show." |

I categorize it as infotainment more than science. I miss Junkyard Wars also. |

They were testing the effectiveness of other materials for cannonballs. |

They were testing the effectiveness of other materials for cannonballs. Houses and minivans? I would consider the show "sciencetainment". Oh, and nerd porn! |
