Lol serves him right. Little punk got his come-upins. Losers that can't get a job or even want to work. Lock him up and have him sent to tent city prison.....I love that warden!!!
The mugger needs to be volunteered for scientific experiments involving molecular dematerialization.
Like boxers... MMA fighters not only have incredible endurance and skill but they are used to taking strikes and grappling in hand to hand combat. Having spent years studying and instructing the MAC (Modern Army Combatives) program, we don't get near enough combatives practice as a force... One of my best friends in the Army is a senior NCO and is a dedicated MMA fighter in his off duty time. I've seen how much he trains and how capable he is if provoked.
As a paratrooper, we utilized grappling as a problem solving tool between Soldiers. Every week we'd gather (on "man love" Thursdays.) and proceed to beat the snot out of each other to blow off steam and settle personal grudges. You'd be amazed at how much camaraderie our platoon had. It was a simple process to "call someone out" and settle issues, no matter the rank. NCOs had to practice unless you wanted to be embarrassed by your own Soldiers. Even the littlest guys learned how to fight tenaciously and use skill over brute force. I would not recommend this form of problem solving in a modern day civilian environment though.
As for our mugger here... I'm sure the victim detained him in a most uncomfortable manner until the red and blue lights appeared. He may have spent a few moments unconscious as well. Good for him.
The "3 strikes" law was made for this idiot. How much longer is he going be a pimple on the ass of humanity before he's sent away for good? Then again, he might just have learned his lesson.
The "victim" must have had a LOT of restraint and been a real pro. He probably could have crippled the perpetrator forever with 2 punches, and killed the guy with 3 punches and a kick. The guy above probably only took on hard punch and spent the rest of the time with his face pressed to the ground begging for his life.
Easy argument to make when the guy is pointing a gun at you. I know a guy that was car jacked while putting gas in his car. He didn't resist at all and as the car jacker was driving off he popped a couple of shots at him hitting him in his forearm doing permanent damage. Crooks can just be completely stupid turning a successful armed robbery into attempted murder for no reason at all.
That and the fact that the perp was 5'-6" 140lbs and the victim was 6'2" and 250lbs.. I am sure that helped...especially when the perp asked him to vacate the vehicle... whadadumbo.
Carjacking happens in Europe too, but only in the big cities, & then mostly in dodgy areas.
A friend of mine who works for a car rental company had an attempted carjacking while he was filling up with petrol in Marseille, he had the fuel line in his hand at the time so he just doused the guy with unleaded & told him to f*** off before he set himself alight. Did the job apparently.
He said he makes a living in a variety of ways: “Sometimes I do clubs. I do close protection.”
I think that thug picked just about the absolute worst option to pick on...
I read that as "body guard," and if he's not letting any photographs be taken or his last name known (and I'd bet money his first name is *not* Justin), he's clearly a professional.
I do so enjoy seeing armed thugs pick on the wrong people.
