The potential for human interface devices like the tablet are becoming limitless... I say, give it 25-30 years and we'll all have a wrist mounted tools that do some amazing things. It may not be wrist mounted for all folks... but the military is already working on wrist mounted "tablets" and commo systems for battlefield networking.
I'd like to see wrist mounted holographic "omni-tools" like that in the SciFi series "Mass Effect" myself.

I think I saw one of these at Brookstone. It also has a couple onboard cameras. Too expensive for me to justify buying one, but I agree, pretty darn cool
