The potential for human interface devices like the tablet are becoming limitless... I say, give it 25-30 years and we'll all have a wrist mounted tools that do some amazing things. It may not be wrist mounted for all folks... but the military is already working on wrist mounted "tablets" and commo systems for battlefield networking. I'd like to see wrist mounted holographic "omni-tools" like that in the SciFi series "Mass Effect" myself. Science fiction is becoming science reality. I live in a fascinating time. I just hope I get to vist LEO or beyond before my time here is expired. | ||

I think I saw one of these at Brookstone. It also has a couple onboard cameras. Too expensive for me to justify buying one, but I agree, pretty darn cool | ||

Wrist mounted controllers? That could be a little dangerous no? Somebody forgets to turn off his gardening drone & 5 minutes later the neighbours see it bobbing up & down madly, I mean what are they going to think? "I was brushing my teeth, yes that's it brushing my teeth, nothing else. Thanks for telling me it was still switched on, sorry about your windshield." All you young people out there, get ready for this, get qualified as an orthopaedic surgeon & make your speciality carpal tunnel work, you'll be in demand. | ||
