Black friday is coming. I wonder how many people are going to die for a $200 tv just like me. I'll be sharpening the end of my dry mop so I can Spartan any deal-wanting maniacs that might try to run me over. I'll try my best to include ramping in the carnage. Sounds crazy, right? I've collected some black friday ads here; sears http://tgi-black-friday.com/index.php?keywords=&st ore=51&ru=28908926 office depot http://tgi-black-friday.com/index.php?keywords=&st ore=30&ru=28908926 Or any other good source about finding a nice stuff on black friday? |

Last year, Dell had a really awesome deal on custom ordered systems through EPP. I ordered a decked out XPS 9100, a Mini 1018v and Sharp 42'' LCD TV, for roughly $2750, and I saved about 1K off of the whole mess. That's about the extent of what I care to do on Dark Friday. Now, if anyone finds a sweet online deal on a tablet...lemme know. |

My "Black Friday" plan is to stay as far away from the local shopping malls as possible. Same as every year. |

I've been working for Gander Mtn for the last 12 years part-time. Historically, BF is a freaking CF beyond all CF's. My store became Gander Mtn Gun World this past month. A new beta-test site for 8-10 new stores of its kind that focus on Guns, Hunting and Archery specifically. My store has over 6000 guns and is the largest gun store in the state of Wisconsin. So this year will be 100% insanity. We had our Grand Opening Last weekend and hauled in well over 300,000.00 in business and sold over 400 guns. I can't remember being off for a BF in at least 5-6 years and if I'd have been lucky enough to be off this year, I would bet you my balls the last place I'd be is in a store or any kind. |

My plans are the same as Jaime's. I have a friend that really gets into it and his "saving" money. Dude I am glad you got 20 big glass jarred candles for $1 each but why? "Because I saved money buying them instead of paying $8 each." That was 3 years ago. He still has 12 candles left. |

I think I will hide in the basement with beer and videogames. Amazon.com is the correct solution. |

I didn't plan on participating in the chaos until Best Buy's sale list got leaked. Gonna go pick up a $200 42" LCD tv, and a $40 blu-ray player. The blu-ray is for me, and the tv a Christmas gift for my sister and her husband. As tempting as it is to buy two of them, I'll be sticking with my 55" projection tv built in 2003, and keep my fingers crossed that the bulb doesn't burn out any time soon. |
