THANK YOU Court, for pointing to the left's treatment of Cain. Last night, CNN was comparing him to Bill Clinton. What a f#&%ing joke. |

HMM paid if the OWS people are PAID it is no longer a legimate protest its Trespassing. Its no longer thier free speech it has become a Job! They are now CONTRACTORS being paid to seize private property. At this point if the police wont remove them from private property another contractor Xe for example should be hired remove the Acorn Soros astroturf. Fire hoses first to clean up the filth then waste removal equipment to clean up the place Xe would insure that there is no interference with the clean up! Oaklands Mayor should be impeached and charged with abetting a riot and jailed. Paying Gov employees to protest thier own country if its not a crime it should be. Those that took pay for the day of the protest and protested should be fired those that stayed home because they were ordered to and were not protestors should be paid BY THE UNION not the city the union wanted the protest. Taxpayers should not be paying for the protest. Pwnzor is correct the OWS are helpless and will die out quickly. Slinky people tools of the Evil left. |

>>>THANK YOU Court, for pointing to the left's treatment of Cain. Pretty obvious really. Clinton was getting a blow job in the Oval Office and when asked directly lied about it. He was impeached as President as a result of breaking a number of laws. Cain has been singled out by a questionable media outlet with no sources, or at best anonymous sources, with no specifics for apparently "making someone uncomfortable". Clinton got 16 seconds of coverage for his affair (one of many that were proven and documented) with Gennifer Flowers. Herman Cain, with no basis whatsoever, made it on 50 feature stories on all the networks. While we are all being "transparent" I'd say it's obvious as hell that the left has to find someway, anyway, to attach something to a keen thinking, sincere, successful business executive who sincerely wants to serve his country. The fact that he is black hasn't even registered with most folks but galls the left. I'm not sure he is who I'd vote for . . but I admire his style, intellect (the guy has an impressive resume in math and economics) and his heart. |

Court my impression of Cain as well He scares the left because of his competence and independance. Progressives hate any one that is accomplished and with a vengence if they are a nonbegging minority Something they lack and cannot understand |

Dear OWS, I do not belong to the upper 1% and OWS categorically does not speak for me. Please change your slogan to "We are the 89.99999%". Please be aware that there is an ocean of non-1%'ers who agree with me so you might need to readjust your slogan downwards continually. Thank you very much for your attention. ------------ For those who don't know the long history of m2me and Badweb, I'll keep my powder dry. For now. Suffice it to say, m2me is no friend to Badweb and he has disparaged Badweb on other sites. For those who are new here, you have gotten your first taste of his condescending attitude. I was too busy on my Uly carving Palomar Mountain, Anza-Borrego, and Mesa Grande yesterday so I missed out on all the fun here. Something that m2me can not do because he sold his Buell. ---- I am leaving in a few minutes for the Chargers-Packers game at the Q. Literal and physical storm clouds are gathering as I blurg. We are gonna get our clock cleaned and it will be wet. (Message edited by reindog on November 06, 2011) |

The Cain facts are annoyingly vague. I wish the reporting would get it right... Were the women that left given settlements, or severance packages? There is a big difference. Plus, anyone that has known anyone that has gone through a divorce or insurance settlement knows there are "standard words" to use to describe things... use them, and they will result in rubber stamp kind of settlements. Lower than what you would get in litigation, but higher than you would get without saying those "magic words". So if you want to quit your job anyway, go to HR with these magic code words, and throw them around, and they know the game as well. It's more about quitting but with negiotiating for a larger exit $$. HR sees it as the cost of doing business. I wish there were more facts. So far what came out makes me think that if this is what rises to the level of sexual harassment these days, we must be doing a pretty damn good job of stamping out sexual harassment in the workplace (which is a great thing). |

But in any case, let's put the harrassment allegations aside. Two other issues raise concern: 1. How Cain (mis-) handled the issue with an assertive press, once brought up, and 2. How the campaign funding issues that have been raised will affect his run. |

Agreed, but both #1 and #2 are tainted beyond any reasonable recognition by the failure of a fairly a partisan media. Its hard when Republicans are guilty until proven innocent, but Democrats are innocent until proven guilty, then innocent anyway, because everybody does it. |

Excellent debate/discussion between Gain and Gingrich last night. Caught the replay this morning via streaming radio feed. It's a pity the major network media won't carry such events live. |

>>>>Agreed, but both #1 and #2 are tainted beyond any reasonable recognition by the failure of a fairly a partisan media. I agree as well. 1) For now . . I am chalking up the bungled response to Cain's refreshingly small (like less than a dozen compared to hundreds) staff of rank amateurs. These folks know nothing about running a campaign or about communications. In the words of Dana Perino (one of the better political communications folk to grace The White House podium the last 10 years) "if he really did have a quick response consultant he needs to fire them immediately." Cain's story changed hourly. That doesn't mean a person is lying. If you doubt me, read any Badwebbers self account/explanation of a motorcycle accident after it occurs. 2) I was not aware of this and will have to read it. As Bill says . . . the spin by the media makes me HAVE to read it, not necessarily WANT to read it. If Cain's . . . . and this is pure supposition . . . offense is teasing someone in a joking manner (which I am inclined to believe since it never rose to the level of import that required it to be "leaked" in the last 12 years) . . I'd chalk it off as one of those silly office things. I confess I've gotten so gun shy that I don't say ANYTHING in or out of the office to anyone I work with. |

These smears grow faster than a zombie apocalypse. Now Gloria Allred is checking in with another Cain accuser. What a surprise. Gloria Allred Got Game So exactly how MUCH cocaine did Obama use? Why can't the public see Obama's college transcripts? Can you say "double standard" I knew you could. I like the way you say "double standard". (said in my best Mister Roger's voice). Obama's job evaluation occurs one year from tomorrow. This is going to be a really ugly year with 0 having no record of achievement to stand on and a fresh, crisp one billion dollar bill in his pocket to burn attacking his opponents. |
