They deleted the post on facebook about Nov. 1st being the day. Looks like it will be delayed indefinitely because no new date was posted |

This reminds me of a guy name Harold Camping... stating something about "the end of the world" being in 1988, 1994, then this past March... then in October... At some point the believers will stop listening. It is about waiting in anticipation and things not coming to fruition... quite a let down. |

All right, I can't take it anymore. I'm going to bed. Based on prior luck, new bike will be unveiled in approximately 10 minutes. |

Im a little disappointed also, due to the fact that I was talking ebr up so much, thinking something was going to happen. All i see happening today is, going to work and listening to the crap talk now. not the first time I looked like an ass-clown I guess |

Maybe somebody hacked their FB account and posted that? I called and asked about it, the response was, "No, not that I know of. What announcement? Got a link?" and so I sent the FB pic. Same response after the pic, ie; nothing to see here, move along. Ignore the little man behind the shiny green curtain in the corner. |

'Disappointed' isn't the right word... The XB was the first bike I HAD to have. I saw it in ads and liked it, I saw it in person at AD Farrow and loved it, I fired it up and bought it. My birthdays for the past few years have been kind of disappointing. When I turned 25, I was diagnosed with diabetes. When I turned 26, Buell was shut down. I hoping that when I turned 28, there would be another reason for me to go into debt. I'm anxious to see the new bike and hopeful for Erik Buell Racing. |

Be patient. Unbelievable what they have done so far in only two years. I am sure they are working on all cylinders. As usual. Maybe my patience comes from knowing that I will not be trading in my Uly anytime soon. Exciting none the less. |

Having experience both, I'd much rather have it be ready when it is ready (like Valve Software and Half Life / Portal), than have it be declared ready based on some arbitrary date declared by some marketing group. |

I've seen too many manufacturers shoot good bikes in the foot by bowing to pressure to get them to market. Get it right, then break cover. |

danger - right on, I think the 1125 suffered from this (or at least the letting the press ride them before they were all sorted) |

No, the press was invited to ride them and provide feedback. Buell got knifed in the back because the press reported on their findings as if these were the FINAL production product, and NOT just prototypes. |

Triumph TT600. Pretty good bike whose reputation never recovered from it's original fuel map. It's not a one-hit wonder. |

I rode three 1125s at the Aus release. Perfect fueling. My dealer's demo unit was a dog. |

Anyone care to actually post the quotes from Erik Buell Racing concerning what now some are claiming was to be an announcement about a new motorcycle? People are funny. |

Erik Buell Racing running on Valve Time? If that is the case it will be 5 more years before we see a new bike, and Valve can't count to 3, so we won't ever see a 3rd generation of anything!

They clearly said big news on the 1st, even if it wasn't a new bike, but something else like another partnership, they still didn't say a word. |

Dont get me wrong Im not upset. Maybe a little dissapointed. Im am in agreement that if something is not ready for public display then its not ready. I would rather they get it right than rush it out unfinished. |

No one assumed anything. Speculation is the proper word lol. But look at it from our side. LOYAL fans of a company get word from the head of the company that in the next couple of weeks there will BIG News. Three weeks pass and another LOYAL fan asks when we will hear about it. The head of the company then says "Nov 1st", which, no doubt gets the LOYAL fans all excited! Which we are, obviously! So . . I still can't wait to hear the Big News regardless of what it might be. |
