I was watching on PBS a show about how many of these are running around loose in the Everglades. I might have to re-think going back down there to go camping over Christmas! http://www.cnn.com/2011/11/01/us/florida-python-de er/index.html?hpt=hp_c2 |

I used to have a 9 foot, and an 11 1/2 foot Burmese Python. They are fairly docile snakes. They won't go after anything thats too big to eat, including fully grown people. Like Fast1075 said; no little dogs. |

I've had 10ft+ pythons and boas... they were all good pets, although the pythons were a little quicker to snap. A hungry snake will eat. |
