Heard a bit this morning on the radio.

A fellow from Russia at an "occupation" was asking questions. I've spent too much time looking for the vid, so...

Russian dude."so what will you replace capitalism with?"
crowd ( very much together ) "socialism!"
R "really?"

Then the sarcasm began with the nice fellow from Russia asking them if they'd prefer North or South Korea. They, naturally, chose North. It went downhill from there.

The fellow from Russia understands that THIS ideology leads to millions murdered.

Can't wait for the Nazis and Commies to simultaneously march in support of OWS. These snowflakes are toast.

I think I am going to grow a mullet, slip on some Birkenstocks, sip Boones Farm, and listen to "Flock of Seagulls" instead.

It's only a matter of time before these "peaceful" protests turn into riots. I'm not surprised that S.F. leads the way. http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2011/10/25/BAUB1LLTC9.DTL

A pet peeve of mine involves the "throwing of objects".

Back during the "Rodney King" riots, a fellow was stoned & beaten nearly to death. In short form the court decided that stoning, the traditional method of EXECUTION BY TORTURE still used today in much of the world was not assault with a deadly weapon. It was a trial full of excuses and racism, and the result was predictably bad for the cause of justice, and the people involved.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reginald_Denny_incide nt

No matter if I'm a cop watching a "protest" or a civilian walking home from work, if you throw "objects" at me, especially rocks & bottles.. ( I may give you a pass for nerf toys ) I get to kick your a$$. I have every right to defend myself against attack. ( in America, so far. This is not a right favored by hopey-changey types ) If you are throwing rocks & bottles? that qualifies as deadly weapons no matter the opinion of one idiot court in the Peoples Republic of Kalifornia.

Protesters throwing objects at police are asking for deadly force to be used against them. They may not think so, but that's because they were raised wrong. Blame the parents.

Better yet. Blame the cynical leftists who use such stupid youth as pawns in their quest for power. ( and have for more than a century ) The persons responsible for the next "Kent State" shooting, and it's going to happen, are the SEUI, CPUSA, etc. commie &*&*'s. Period.

Education... The next bubble to burst. Just like real estate, it has gotten way overpriced with easy financing. If this current generation of students defaults on their loans, what will happen with tomorrows students? College grads should be issued revokable diplomas until they have repaid their loans.

They should add the debt that the government has put on them. Then they can really be angry. Of course these idiots think that someone else should pay that debt off.

I wouldn't have thought a left-wing bay area stomping ground to be the first city to make the call and forcibly remove the protestors. Good on them for doing it.

Now the taxpayer is supposed to subsidize college loans with 0 pandering for more votes? Why would anyone with an ounce of sanity take on such a heavy debt load when there are fabulous alternatives? What is wrong with city college to fulfill lower division requirements? I worked and took a moderate amount of student loans to get to the finish line of obtaining my BSEE. I went to UCSD which is one of the best universities in the world. But wait, it gets even better. I chose a field where there was demand even in a recession. My first employer of my engineering career paid 100% of my Masters Degree.

I paid my student loans off on the agreed upon terms. I am tired of stupidity asking forgiveness for being stupid.

Sifo.... how do you find that stuff??

I'm deep undercover.

Why would anyone with an ounce of sanity take on such a heavy debt load when there are fabulous alternatives?

Simply put... It must be better if it costs more. This goes back 6 or 7 years, but I remember a new item about a college that was having enrollment problems. They discussed various ideas to try to increase enrollment. They decided on a very counter-intuitive solution. They significantly raised their tuition rates. The next year enrollment was at capacity. It's one of those areas where all common sense is just thrown right out the window.

I wonder what market they stole the pallets from to construct their elevated sidewalks?

The pallets look to be in fair condition, so they would bring about $5 each to the shop owner, or possibly they could be CHARGED $5 to $8 each by the carrier who expects those pallets to be returned to them.

Rampant theft of private property... way to get the message out, you stinking lowlife hippies!
