I think the Texas Rangers just discovered what a great player Albert Pujols really is. Do you think they will pitch to him again this series? |

I was really fried so I went to sleep around 10:30 when it was 8 Cards and 6 Rangers... now I will be watching the videos on mlb.stlouscardinals.com ... I think Pujoles is inspired by JESUS, Blake... so don't hate him too much... every time he crosses home plate he looks up to thank God. He is a very humble man. Check out his website here, he does a lot of charity work with Downs Syndrome kids (his oldest daughter has it) and he does a lot of charity work in the Dominican too. http://www.pujolsfamilyfoundation.org/ (Message edited by Whatever on October 23, 2011) |

Yup he's an all round good guy, even the umps respect him. Did you see his reaction to a pitch way outside that was called a strike last night, just raised an eyebrow & whistled, the ump couldn't even look at him. Next pitch he launched one for 3 runs. Classic. |

Yeah I missed it. I had a feeling that Cards would lose and I could not keep my eyes open even after caffeinating. Now I wish I saw it all... but the guy is one of the all time greats. I just hope the Cards can keep him next year. If we win the series you can bet the owners will do whatever they can to keep him (I hope). (Message edited by Whatever on October 23, 2011) |

From what Joe Buck & Tim McCarver were saying the Cards will get first & last refusal but he's going to test the Free Agency market anyway. |

Nice to know Char! He's no squirrel! Not sure god is into baseball though. The issue may warrant some careful study and humble reflection. Jesus' skill on the water indicate swimming may be his preferred sport; then again being ablemto turn water to wine would give him a big advantage in an Iron Chef competition. But then maybe after all he's a Cubs fan, you know, the whole resurrecting the dead thing. |

Just logged on expecting to watch while having breakfast, expecting to be around 5th or 6th inning, game's nearly over! My hat's off to Holland he's thrown a great game from what I've seen of the highlights. |

Rangers deserved that one, if only for Holland's outstanding performance, it'll be a while before he has to pay for a drink in Texas I reckon. Mind you the whole Texas team upped their game defensively compared to last night. Honours even, I think this one might go to the wire. This has been a great postseason for baseball whichever team you follow, & a great World Series to cap it off. So many in recent years have been too predictable, but I've no idea how this one's going to end. Great stuff. |

The Rangers have pulled out the pitches when they have had to. We have left too many runners on base. It is just painfull at this point to watch. |
