You'll have to share it with us in order to remain credible. |

"You'll have to share it with us in order to remain credible. " funny comment truly Court is the only person on here that can say something and say nothing at the same time and no one questions him. Anyone else would get flamed with haste. Cherish it Court. Im just hoping all of these stories are in the next book. And hoping the book is close to being done |

Hahahaha . . . no problem. Court's an , I read it on the internet! Not really that big a deal . . when they were designing the KC plant . . Porsche was taking 40,000SF for some of their NAOPS, HD got most of it and there was to be a Buell Engineering Group. A fellow who was working with the transition group pulled off one of the most successful bullshit lines in Buell history (rivaling some of my own) about Engineers requiring sunlight to optimize creativity and productivity and there was. . if only for a brief instant . . an early floor plate that had all the HD folks in the core with Buell folks in bright sunny offices on the perimeter. The Blast, alas, ended up being built in East Troy, not KC. I liked my trailer (the one that we had a permit for 1 month for for the Village) and my cardboard box for a desk. |

LOL! That is funny. Thing is though, the sun effect on productivity is valid, at least according to an architect/interior designer I live with. |

Bobbing was taking the bike down to the essentials - getting ride of all the extra weight, and decorative cr@p on the bike, w/o typically modifying the frame Think shorty finders, peanut tanks, solo seats (suckerpunchsally) 'Chopping' was modifying the frame in geometry ; typically lengthening the wheel base by changing the neck angle and fork length.... of course over the years, both have been muddied and escaped their traditional meanings until the likes of OCC shows up and can claim a decorative paint job and characture accessories is a 'chopper' |

On my mid ohio inside pass day, one of the riders was from Buell and said he shared that trailer with you for a while. Nice guy, sharp and passionate (a proper elf in other words). |

the one that we had a permit for 1 month for for the Village That trailer was there for significantly longer than 1 month... I still remember seeing the first rendering for the KC plant. With Harley Davidson and Buell lettering on the building. Sure wish I had that rendering, 1313 |

Our illegal trailer was legendary ....... Lots of history made in there. That's also where the fabled "you are an idiot" customer service call took place as Abe and a couple Elves watched slack jawed. I'm sure I'll find pics of it cause I used to take many of the R&D bikes parked out there next to it. |
