Hey folks, I thought some of you might like to hear the latest Lemonchili Project tune, it's called "Freakin Out":

It's a song I wrote quite a few years ago, but it's had a few tweaks and changes over time. It was recorded and mixed by yours truly, but this time I got it mastered externally by Waltz Mastering in Boston (a big thank you to Tom Waltz!), and I think it's sounding pretty cool. The song is also a good indication of how the album I'm working on will sound, a little heavier than before 
I originally planned for the album to be finished by now, but it's taking a little longer than I thought. I hope to have it ready for release before the end of the year. It'll feature around 11 original songs and will be a bit like a mix tape with some lighter stuff and some heavier stuff, and includes some special guests on one of the tracks  (Technology is a wonderful thing!)
The Lemonchili Project also has a new logo:

I'm looking into doing a run of t-shirts too.

Thanks heaps for the feedback guys, really glad you like it. This song seems to be getting a really good reception so far, which bodes well for the album.
Any chance on those possible t-shirts coming stateside?
Abso-freakin-lutely . Vamps may end up looking after all the shirt stuff, and we'll look into the caps too. The plan is to keep the price down and try and get as many out there as possible

Something I really should get done. I will make sure that they're all written up with the album.

I hope so! I've learnt a whole a heap about the recording process since doing that EP, and also found that sometimes to get exactly what you want the only way is to do certain things yourself . Doing "Freakin Out" has been the test case for how I want to write/record/mix and then get it externally mastered, so I expect the quality to be as good or better for the album |
