Update on the no announcement...there is still no announcement...it is expected that there may be an announcement at an unannounced time regarding the lack of an announcement, unless of course there is an announcement. If this had been an actual announcement, you would have been instructed to bring your check book to the nearest Erik Buell Racing dealership. That is all, move along. | ||

For some reason, I, nor my parents have AMC now. It's been removed from the basic cable for our area. The next package is another $30.00 a month and they don't do a la carte. None of the other channels are worth having. I'm eagerly waiting for the anouncement... | ||

We talk about that all the time. Local channels are a given for news, weather, etc. Comedy Central, Cartoon Network, AMC, Discovery, TLC and the History Channel. I'd be happy with that. | ||

We just did a few months ago. Dropped Dish and land line. We were paying $50 a month to talk to telemarketers and $50 a month to watch commercials. We bought a digital box for 17 local channels and kept Netflix for the kids and rainy days. So far I don't miss it at all. We ditched the Dish because they raised it $10 and the very next month said they were giving us a movie channel for three months free. I guess they figured if they put the price hike on before then people would still think they were getting it free? Now if I could just get rid of this cell phone. | ||

Cut the cords! I get all my video entertainment from the internet and Netflix (45 megabit with Verizon Fios) , I don't use telephone either, and I recently switched my cell to data only so I have web on the road. Life is great | ||

If you live close enough to where they broadcast you can get some 12-25 channels free. Most major channels are broadcast in HD too. I live close enough to Phila to get about 12 channels and about 8 are HD. Yea.. I'm talking Antenna. I also have cable. | ||

No voice at all, my phone is the same old Windows Mobile 6 phone I've had for years, its fallen apart to the point that the speakers don't even work. I just use it as a modem and then tether to my Xoom tablet, I use Google Voice for texting. | ||

So we went from the lack of promised news from Erik Buell Racing, to a TV show about a zombie apocalypse, to cable TV, to getting off the phone grid. This thread has more twists and turns than Deal's Gap!  I do wish Erik Buell Racing would at least make another announcement announcement even if they're not ready to make any actual announcements yet. | ||
