Sweet! Like a baby (old style) Saab 9-3, but lighter and more powerful. That would make a heck of a fun (and practical with the hatch back) commuter! |

Actually . . . Vickie and I are seeing the Focus as a modern day iteration of "the white bunny", the Saab 9-3 hatchback she was driving when we first met.
After that she went through 3 9-3 convertibles and we always enjoyed them immensely.
The Focus is reminiscent of the 9-3.
Ford has not released the MSRP. The folks on the forum seem to be thinking it has to be under $30k, which I'd concur with.
My Focus Ti came with every option Ford offers and I think it stickered somewhere just over $28k. The ST wouldn't, however, need the "auto park" and some of the things the Ti has. |

2014 should be when the new global rwd chasis comes out. I believe the aus Ford is playing a big role in the suspension design.
It is being designed for global use and shouldn't have the fuel tank issue (gto). |

It's been raining here all morning.
Temperature is in the low sixties.
I may go for a ride in shorts and a t-shirt just to get good and chilled, maybe fire up the heated grips.
