okay so we have the G4 Snow powerset. got that one because it doesn't have the boom mic as we wear FF helmets. likes: good packaging, slick cradle, nice wire, good volume, EASY dislikes: not free(i keeed i keeed), speaker placement is trial and error(they all are) having to learn buttons by feel, the buttons require more force than i would've thought, wind noise from the module itself, the sound is tinny for music and a little to hot in the mid-range(although that was expected for me because i know these units are tuned for human voice, the damn thing talks to you! scared me to death this morning that's my first impressions more to come |

yeah, i've thought about swapping the speakers out for something with more range, haven't tried it yet though. |

I'll be buying a good comm system next year. I've seen numerous options, but the Scala Rider does appear to be the best bang for the buck. No matter which setup I go with, I'll be adding a headphone plug for my in-ear headphones. Sound quality is infinitely better, and they deaden sound about as well as foam earplugs. http://www.netrider.net.au/forums/showthread.php?t =122595 |

Anyone who has this figure out how to keep it in ON mode all the time instead of it shutting off after 30 seconds of no-talking? |

i sync'd my phone and played music through it. i haven't had it on long enough without input to know for sure. i will suggest that you make sure your software is the latest though |

Blackm2; we leave ours off, and turn them on manually when we want to talk, easier than dealing with the auto delay, just easier for us. plus we listen to our Ipod. |
