I recently purchased a new bike that already had a Barkers slip on installed. Due to the fact that I live in a community, I want to install the quiet core so I dont piss off the neighbors(its LOUD). I cant seem to find a shop willing to do this for me as it is a custom part. Looks like I will have to do this myself and I was hoping for some guidance on how to do this.I am not mechanically enclined but I can follow instructions. I contacted Barkers and have not received a response. My exhaust looks identical to the one below. thanks in advance!

I would look for either a OEM Race Pipe or a stock pipe and purchase that. Then resell this Barker pipe. |

Great info Svh, you should write how-to books..... .....unless you shouldn't. To install the quiet core remove the tail pipe with the 3 bolts on the end cap of the muffler. Slip the insert in (make sure ya line it up with the bolt holes in the muffler), reinstall the end cap and your done. Should take ya 5 minutes. |

360: easy install, takes maybe 10 minutes (including time walking to / from the toolbox). There are two inserts available. I tried both and went with the 'quieter' one for the same reasons (staying a good neighbor). |
