Saudi's US ambassador targeted by Iran? Oh boy, here we go. Discuss this thwarted terror plot. |

Ok. It ties to the Fast & Furious lunacy, a chance inquiry from the Iranians shopping for a hit man in Mexico, speaking to a DEA undercover guy. So, Holder gets to show the success of F&F by default. |

Simple diversion. Fast & Furious = inept DOJ = Holder thrown out of office = possible jail time! |

Evidence seems pretty thin to link the Iranian Government to this 'plot', so methinks it is just an excuse to rattle their cage and provoke a response so the US can take action against a regime that they have wanted to bomb for years. Maybe Hilary should keep the soundbites down until we know the truth (or not). |

Now they are warning Americans about over sea travel. Wagging the dog or a real threat? |

Travel carefully, but watch the other hand, sleight-of-hand usually uses a distraction. |

"The idea that they would attempt to go to a Mexican drug cartel to solicit murder-for-hire to kill the Saudi ambassador? Nobody could make that up, right?" Clinton said shortly after U.S. prosecutors accused two suspected Iranian agents of trying to murder Saudi envoy Adel Al-Jubeir. That fact that this was said by Clinton just makes me suspect it all the more. Yes, this could be made up. |

I'm thinking possible smoke screen, Timing is too good, and evidence is "VERY thin". I also think that the Irainians would have tried before now, and that they are not quite that inept. further, messing with the drug cartells? yeah go to mexicocity and look for the "Cartels are us store, for all of your criminal needs" the whole thing smells... Holder lied and needs to be on trial, lotssa cronies surfacing time to clean house F&F Solyndra MOW when do we get IMPEACHMENT ? hoping for change in '13 |

He told the Detroit courtroom that the bomb was a "blessed weapon to save the lives of innocent Muslims" Terrorists kill muslims all the time. I wonder how many muslims were on the plane he tried to blow up? How many muslims died in the 9/11 attacks? (not counting the terrorists) Ignorant tool. |

Since the vast majority of Muslims murdered in this war of/on Jihad are murdered by Muslims in AQ and other intolerant muslim groups, killing AQ would save far more Muslims. Despite years ( ending abruptly in 2008 ) of the press reporting that US troops killed "x" number of civilians in Iraq & Afghanistan, little attention is ever paid to how many civilians AQ killed. ( I'll also note that the enemy has no uniform, and if he doesn't have an AK IN HIS HAND when the body is collected and buried, he is called a civilian. Falsely. ) |

As to the nice Iranian rulers, and their failed attempt to be more bad a$$ than usual. 1. Is Iran capable/willing to indulge in assassination? Sure. They've printed jillions in counterfeit US money, slaughtered our troops by proxy by supplying AQ with arms and assistance, and really want to take Iraq. So... sure. 2. Do they believe they can get away with it? I Don't Know. It would be a declaration of outlaw status that even the UN might notice? The Euro-zone the US are the only ones that would and could object with any effect. Bad news, Euro-zone is in economic turmoil. Despite Barack's apparent willingness to go to war, Iran has been treated very gently for reasons I can only speculate. My opinion is that our Prez looks foolish and weak to Iran. 3.Are the current press releases about this assassination plot trustworthy? Heck no. My opinion on this admin is that they'd lie in a heartbeat if it gained them status points. If you think other administrations were just as bad, you may be right. Not going to argue. You can't disbelieve everything and function. Assume you don't have all the facts, and you're never wrong. I'm certain as I can be that the people running with this story are going to spin and milk it for all it's worth. That parts normal and expected. My opinion of the "media" is they parrot the party line if it tweaks their pet peeves. But the "media" is not a reliable servant. If they smell blood...they'll report it. Just assume they don't have it quite right and watch for spin. Unproven and wild speculation as to deep and dire plots where Mahmoud and/or Barry are in cahoots to overthrow the planet and install themselves as dictators?......? Probably true. This is News to you? Time will tell. |
