Borrowed a friend's old Maxim 750 (he's got a new FJR and doesn't ride it anymore) so my son could ride while he was in town visiting. It needed a footpeg mount welded up and a good going over. Was going to bleed the front brakes as they were a little soft and noticed a wad of gritty grease around the bleeder, weird how'd that get there, seals are good. Then the same thing on the other side. It was then I realized someone thought the bleeders were grease zerks,

A friend of mine did the same thing on his rzr, he said his brakes were squeaking and figured they needed greased. |
