This is what she has picked out. Its called Polished Metallic Its not cheap. You know the deal... if I talk her into something "CHEAP" or something she kinda only likes... I'll be replacing it in a few years
The pic doesn't even come close to showing all the stuff it has going on. |

Wolf, What they charging in your area per sq ft installed? Just curious, we are in the market too... We're seeing the "good stuff" go for about $70 per sq ft...or higher ouch!! We have about 60 sq ft of counter. Brad |

We are in the same ballpark. Lowes and Depot have it ranging from 50 to over 100 bucks The time to do granite is now. Its about 1/2 what it was 8 to 10 years ago Once the economy turns around it going to go back up.... way up |

Any thoughts on Quartz? I am in the market as well and was told that It is suppose to be indestructible and cheaper. |

We are finding Quarts to be more expensive.... because is "GREEN" kinda like bamboo floors.... bamboo grows like a weed but it cost more than traditional floors cause its green did a little searching and found this on the web •Concrete: $100 per square foot. •Marble: $50-$100 per square foot. •Granite: $50-$100 per square foot. •Wood: $50-$100 per square foot. •Ceramic: $10-$30 per square foot. •Limestone: $50-$100 per square foot. •Slate: $50-$100 per square foot. •Quartz: $50-$100 per square foot. •Stainless Steel: $100-$200 per square foot. •Laminate: $25-$50 per square foot. •Solid Surface: $90-$150 per square foot.
