Andy's talking Silestone or any of the other, similar solid surface, quartz-based stuff - some nice materials out there.

This is what she has picked out. Its called Polished Metallic
Its not cheap. You know the deal... if I talk her into something "CHEAP" or something she kinda only likes... I'll be replacing it in a few years

The pic doesn't even come close to showing all the stuff it has going on.

My wife is a lawyer, she bought me a Buell AND she represents me when I get speeding tickets on the damn thing!

Best part of having a lawyer for a wife....

Walking out of the courthouse and thinking "I'm the only one here today that gets to screw my lawyer!"

Wolf,
What they charging in your area per sq ft installed?
Just curious, we are in the market too...
We're seeing the "good stuff" go for about $70 per sq ft...or higher ouch!! We have about 60 sq ft of counter.

We are in the same ballpark.
Lowes and Depot have it ranging from 50 to over 100 bucks

The time to do granite is now. Its about 1/2 what it was 8 to 10 years ago

Once the economy turns around it going to go back up.... way up
