So close to my place that I don't even think my bike will be warmed up by time I get there, gonna have to detour to Vermont or something first. I'm pretty sure this is where one of the Horseman runs ended last year. |

The weather WILL cooperate. According to Intellicast: Details for Sunday, September 11 Mix of sun and clouds. Highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 60s. It doesn't really matter, though. I'll show up, as long as the roads aren't icy. (Message edited by Crusty on September 07, 2011) |

I may have the wife wheel me over there. I'll be recovering from some minor surgery. |

That was a fantastic place - supposed to be real nice weather this weekend, too. If I'm not working on the house I'll take a ride down. |

This sounds like a possibe for me. I went to a dinosaur run last year and really didn't think much of the chow. I'm not looking for a fight here I just thought that what they served me was some poor BBQ. Perhaps I'm used to some more "down home" style "poke". Can anyone compare the two for me ? |

Dino is the best damn BBQ on earth, and if you didn't like it, you probably are a vegetarian. |

Sorry Frogman, but I have eaten a bunch of BBQ and that Dino stuff was far from the best. I'll have to save some of my insignificant others mothers BBQ for you and let you be the judge. Didn't you see the line about not wanting to start a fight ? |

Skin, I agree and disagree. I've eaten at the Syracuse location a couple of time, and every time it feels like one of the best meals I've ever had. I ate at the NYC location once and seem to recall it being quite as good but still a good meal. I've eaten at the new Troy location twice and both times came away kind of disappointed. I don't know if it's going downhill, or if there's that much variance between them all or what. This place we're talking about meeting is fantastic and I remember thinking it was one of the best BBQ places I've been to. |

That line about me being a vegetarian is nothing more than inflamatory mean spirited non-sense ! How could I rock a sticker like this if I was ? How do you explain my physique ? |

Next you are gonna kick a drunk in the nadz and say "I'm not looking for trouble" I personally didn't think this place we are going to this Sunday was great, but hell, BBQ and Buells, I can't turn that down. |

Might want to try the BBQ pork ribs here in Kilgore at Country Tavern. Right now, no matter what you choose around here, it's likely to be smoked. |

Arthur Bryant's - Kansas City, MO Mac's - Dallas, TX Guy & Mae's - Williamsburg, KS The Dinosaur is a good "big city interpretation" of BBQ. |

The Dinosaur is a good "big city interpretation" of BBQ. That's the Harlem location. The original Dinosaur in Syracuse has better food, and it also has the Mohawk Power and Light Building a couple of blocks away. Which you would use a lot of memory in your camera on if you get near it. I've eaten BBQ out West, down South and in the Northeast. Some was really good food, and some was crap. It's the restaurant that's important, not the location. And for every restaurant that I loved, there someone who thinks it sucked; and vice versa. |

Well I'm going to go to this weekends shin-dig and I'm sure it will be a fine time. So who's "in" ? The joint looks a little small. |

There are plenty of tables outside. The weather should be nice. This is a dry rub smoked Texas BBQ kind of place. There is only one sauce, and you get it on the side. The dry rub and smokiness stand on their own with these ribs. One of my favorites. |

Dan; you haven't made it to one of our lunch or dinner rides in a while. I hope you can make it. Steve; I don't know what kind of "minor surgical procedure" you're having done, but I hope it goes better than expected, and you're able to join us. |
