This is all happening way to fast!!! We now know 72 of the 100 bikes have been built. With the amount of work the elves are putting in, some kind of news has to surface soon regarding the RX, SX, AX and some kind of financial backing. Bike 100 has to be right around the corner and I can't see Erik allowing the elves to run out of work. |

there's still plenty to be done. Nobody will be "out of work" anytime soon...but word 3 in the company name is "Racing", after all... There's still plenty of work to go around. |

It will be very interesting to see what the next step is. I'll bet it'll be a couple of years before we see 3 more models, but it wouldn't surprise me to see a "toned down" version of the 1190RS (Showa suspension, unmodified Rotax engine, etc.) very soon. |

People are able to request serial numbers - could that be the case, here? |

So did Larry Pegram request Vin #72? (speculation is so much fun!) |

Even if VIN # 72 was requested, wouldn't 1-71 have to be built before 72 is available? I think the laws about this got somewhat stricter since the days when HD would from time to time issue duplicate VINs. |

Nooooooooo ??????? ........ HD?? ..... Say it ain't so. Actually there are sow great stories of some tricks they played to keep the doors open. Owner selected VIN on a Corvette is a $5,000 option. |
