Court, on another thread you said (One of the better stories waiting to be told in the history of Buell involves, you guessed it, the amber heel guards) I just bought a set from the classified section and couldn't wait to get them only to find (IN THE ORIGINAL H.D.PACKAGE)----------- TWO RIGHT SIDE GUARDS!!!!!! Was this one of H.D.s last little digs or what? Anyone got two LEFTS? | ||

Why does that not surprise me? I've received sporter belts in a blast belt box, Firebolt frame pucks in a Uly puck box, and a headlamp with reflectors for England, but I've never seen two of the same part get stuffed in the same box. Good luck finding a right side though. | ||

Right, just put on the side that is right, and leave the other stock. See how long until somebody notices... (I tried to talk my wife into doing that after replacing color keyed door handles that broke on our Sienna minivan... all black on the driver side, still color keyed on the passenger side. She wouldn't let me try... my mistake was asking. I bet years would have gone by before she noticed ... ) |
