I should have taken more pictures! Just gives me reason to go buy more parts. The white in person is absolutely stunning!! Those were the only ones I saw in the showroom. I did get to hear one blast down the road and wow is all I can say. |

If they make a Black and Orange one... I'm going to have to rob a bank. Still, those are too sexy. Who says you can't have form and function? Go Erik Buell Racing! |

I don't recall seeing any metallic flakes in the red. More of a pearl if I recall. I was too busy lusting over the white one! |

I'll... uh... be in my bunk. WOW, those are stunning looking bikes. The more I see them, the better they look! And apparently they ride better than they look. I figure by the time I wear my 1125R out, there should be something truly amazing out at a sane street bike price. $40k? Nah, that's an airplane. $20k for a truly stunning American sport/touring bike? Yeah, I'd probably do that... |

I was told that plans were in place to build something more affordable! That is all I know though. |

Nice, really nice. I think I'd go for the white one I'm curious, maybe it means nothing, but what other bikes were in the showroom? I see an 1125R, a Uly and an RS1200. Were there any others? |

I'm hoping that Erik Buell Racing releases a more comfortable, decontented variant that's priced in the $12-15k range. |

If there's one at NJMP this weekend I'll be sure to cover it for everyone. Got a nice new 16.2MP camera to play with |

I saw it for the first time at VIR during the canceled AMA weekend. Geoff was up there testing with the WERA group. All I can say is pictures can't hold a candle to the real thing. Joe I'm not taking anything away from your skills at wielding a camera. JP |

The bike truly is much better looking in person. The attention to detail and all that carbon fiber is amazing. I found myself just staring at various parts of the bike in awe. The showroom also had an XB-RR with that glorious ram air intake. |

Not to be a wet blanket, but for that price, the CF is a little rough around the edges. ~SM |

Have you seen one in person? The only rough spot I saw on the one at Mid Ohio was the inside the hubless rear wheel. The rest was fantastic. |

Not to be a wet blanket, but for that price, the CF is a little rough around the edges. Always something to pick on! My opinion is that based on the amount of carbon fiber used and the angles achieved with said fiber it is amazing. That and the carbon fiber is just one part of this amazing motorcycle, look at the rest of the great top quality items that are factory equipped. Oh and if its that terrible why not build something better yourself for a cheaper price? (Message edited by trbulnt on August 31, 2011) |

The comment on the carbon fiber is ridiculous. The stuff is spectacularly nice, and everyone I know who has seen it has agreed. Far better than the stuff on equally priced bikes from overseas. |
