$140 HD rubberized two piece rain suit. Six years one little leak at the crotch threads. Does not work well if you put it on AFTER getting wet. It will hold the moisture in! It is also good in winter for a wind proof outer lining. |

Joe Rocket Survivor Suit. It works well in Florida pre-hurricane downpours. I've yet to try it for an extended time as I am only 15 miles from work. (Bloody hot in the afternoons though) Chris C |

HTFU But seriously, my Tourmaster Transition jacket and Caliber pants don't disappoint, and aren't that expensive. |

In a pinch, garbage bags and duct tape, with a Sunday paper under my shirt if it's cold. Other than that, still have the same waxed cotton suit that I've had for 40 years. |

My crotch always gets wet, whether it is raining or not, when I am riding my Buell. |

My normal gear is waterproof kinda and takes a lot of rain but for extended soaking rides I use a wal mart 2 piece set of raingear that's heavy enough to not flap around and shred. This has served me for nearly a decade. |

Fist Gear Kilimanjaro Jacket and First Gear HT Over Pants. Have never gotten wet and have ridden in frog strangler rain for hours. Just got back from a Colorado ride and did some rain riding and stayed dry. Best part is you don't have to stop and switch or put on rain gear just close up the vents and ride on. By the way I always I always leave the back vent open so I don't sweat when vents are closed and it is warm out. |

"What are you wearing for rain gear?" ...a house...and a garage. I found that any rain gear is useless on a Lightning with a chopped tail. (Message edited by Tbolt_pilot on August 26, 2011) |

HD pvc 1 piece rain suit. Got it from the gal's dad. I've been in nasty low visibility rain with it, and stayed nice and dry. First rain gear I have ever owned. I actually LIKE riding in the .rain with it. |

If you get an answer longer than one word . . you need to keep asking the question.

Posted on Friday, August 26, 2011 - 09:11 pm: -------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------ Buell Rain Gear. oh and Steve I didn't get wet on the ride home. I used my Buell gear this morning on the way to work. I knew it would be sunny by noon, so why not ride. That gear as well as my Alpinestar GoreTex boots and I was dry and comfortable. |
