Jim had some wheelie bars for sale. I needed some. Money is tight since every time I deploy my wife thinks we need to use all of our extra money to pay off bills and get out of debt (women, go figure). Anyway, Jim said it was cool if I paid it out over a month. I email the dude to get the shipping total so I can send the final payment and...he's already sent them without me paying him off! I don't know if he just trusted me or REALLY wanted them out of his garage, but either way he's an awesome guy! |

He is crazy, he did similar to me a while back. He was selling some parts, I told them I will take them, PMed him my address, then a few days later he had them in the mail before telling me the final cost. I told him he was nuts for having that much faith in humanity, he said "Not so much in humanity in general as I have faith in Badwebbers. Never been stiffed by one" |

I bought a Mikuni carburetor from him and he threw in the throttle cables too. I thought it was because he liked me. How disappointing to learn otherwise. |

Budgolf, My wife did the same to me when I was working away from home for about a year. Finally return home for good thinking, okay, let's do it up big for vacation! We still had a great vacation. Having the house paid off, new gutters and doors and the driveway repaved was darn near priceless. You've got yourself a keeper for sure. |

It . . .over the years . . . has become an amazing tradition . . . there are some folks you can ALWAYS count on to be there when you need them. Never ceases to amaze me. They tend, in their own right and respective fields, to be star performers with amazing stories each. In their personal lives they are the type of folks you'd want your kids to emulate. I've had the great pleasure, in 25+ years of Buellin', to meet some of the best of the best . . . . and still stay in contact with all of them. . . . . even the one whos heading off to a new life next Sunday . . . . clock ticking. It's REALLY Cool to hear this about Jim!

How can you not love Jimmy?
Funny thing is he had not heard of the Tree of Shame before this day! |

Well Char that just shows ya how much he pays attention... I took a picture of him in front of the "Tree of Shame" during the first BRATPAC ride back in '99. He's wound so damn tight that his energy deflects things that other people see. I've known FMJ for years now. I'd ride across the country to ride motorcycles and drink beer with him. As good of people as you'll ever meet. |

Hey Court, What's the scoop on the FMJ photo with Aaron and Susan in it? Was that the time that Jim was dug up from the grave in the cemetery behind them? Jim and everyone at JTS are the very best. On the day of Laurie and my 25th anniversary, our XB12X had issues in the middle of our 2200 mile California trip. They dropped what they were doing and got us back on our journey in hours. I will always remember how romantic it was to see Laurie sitting on top of a barrel of racing fuel while reading a magazine. What a great anniversary. |
