The sources of annoyance we reap from Obama's Marxism; the poverty we reap from DC's boondoggles. |

From the Washington Post: U.S. debt shot up $239 billion on Tuesday — the largest one-day bump in history — as the government flexed the new borrowing room it earned in this week’s debt-limit increase deal. The debt subject to the statutory limit shot way past the old cap of $14.294 trillion to hit $14.532 trillion on Tuesday, according to the latest the Treasury Department figures, which are released on the next business day. That increase puts the government already remarkably close to the new debt limit of $14.694, which means one day’s new borrowing ate up 60 percent of the $400 billion in space Congress granted the president this week. [...] The previous one-day record debt increase was $186 billion, set on June 30, 2009. |

Do any of you really believe that what is happening isn't precisely to plan? We have the Cloward-Piven President. He talks about "creating jobs" and "growing the economy" only to keep us from seeing what the left hand is doing. |

Glitch, that's why I posted this "updated" chart of Debt to GDP ratios. You can clearly see how it spiked upward right as Bush left office clearly demonstrating that Bush is to blame. |

Quite a century this is turning out to be: Dot.com bubble burst - 2001 housing bubble burst - 2008 US government bubble bursts - 2013 Who's fault? One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one President, and nine Supreme Court justices equates to 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country. |

I am sad to admit that both the Comedian-in-Chief and his sidekick Holder are fellow alums. I am, as you may well suspect, in a distinct minority ( I don't mean that in a racist way) among faculty. We have, at present, idiots .... Well educated, but nonetheless idiots .... At the controls. I git really scared recently. I was at a faculty function (when you have a $4B endowment, you get great booze) and spoke to another Professor. Scary part is that some of them truly believe this redistribution crap. Word got around about my "alarming outburst" at the hearings to debate allowing ROTC back on campus after they were kicked off for not allowing gays. My language was "salty"...... I sounded "like an ex-Marine" Duh |

"I git really scared recently. I was at a faculty function (when you have a $4B endowment, you get great booze) and spoke to another Professor. Scary part is that some of them truly believe this redistribution crap." ...but wouldn't a senior Prof in any major University be in the "haves" column? Or they must just think it'll be someone else's money......... It is scary how dumb some smart people can be.... "give them the wealth, give them the wealth" |

I wish these well-to-do folks that want to share the wealth would lead by example. It's very easy to give extra money to the government if you wish to. |

So I'm supposed to be upset over 1,400 people that did not pay any Federal Income Tax? Really? Screw the 1,400, I'm more concerned that 49% of ALL Americans don't have any skin in the game. |

not only do they not have any skin in the game, they are exactly the ones on the dole of entitlements, sections, grants, community service awards, waivers, subsidy and ramping up the utilization in ER, Pub School, etc ... they are driving the economy, even if it is into the other ditch - it is still not progress ! |

All of the bull shit about avoiding the default to keep from being down graded was meaningless. Obama and his ilk are lying through their teeth. They ONLY want to keep the spending train open, so that they can keep the "Hot Public Tit" light on. Wake up progressive half wits! This is YOUR fault! |

I've been offline for about a week so if this a repost, sorry... Send this to everyone you know be they left-right-center or upside down. This is what we are up against. "If the US Government was a family, they would be making $58,000 a year, they spend $75,000 a year, and are $327,000 in credit card debt. They are currently proposing 'BIG' spending cuts to reduce their spending to $72,000 a year. These are the actual proportions of the federal budget & debt, reduced to a level that we can understand." - Dave Ramsey |

If a credit card company gave someone with a $58K income $327K in credit card debt people would be screaming that those in charge should be thrown in jail. I agree! This is far worse though, as this is debt that is being thrust upon us against our will. The only way out is to cross the border. I'm starting to seriously consider it. |
