Message from Kate (Patrick's wife) Thank you for thinking about him- we BOTH really appreciate support!  It's definitely not easy but we just take one day at a time. I know he loves getting snacks (the food on the ship he is on is awful)- he loves beef jerkey, protein bars, and nuts, trail mix, etc. He also loves getting magazines and things to read. Really anything he gets I think he loves- just knowing that he is being thought about. Thanks again!!! | ||

Just an update from Afghanistan, me and my boys are doing great. The weather up to the north is pretty cold but down here where I am at the days get into the 50s and 60s perfect bike weather. Speaking of bikes there are tons of them around here. I work by some guys who "borrowed" one and I rode it the other day. Nothing like an old thumper to get your fix. I will try and post some pictures of it at a later date. We had 1 guy get injured by an IED blast about 2 weeks ago but he is doing well. Him and his family are in Bethesda right now. That place is amazing the care they have given Jamie so far is unbelievable. Living conditions over here are not all that bad, I have definately lived in worse when I was over here in 2004. I did bring a Buell shirt with me and will try to get some pictures of it with some good scenary. Well gotta go for now, Taking it to the Taliban Jimmy | ||

Jimmy: Your profile indicates you are a United States Marine. Were you aware that USMC folks who are deployed are eligible for free Buell shirts and stuff? Drop me a PM with your address or post it here along with your shirt size. Let me know if there are other Buell riders with your unit. I got a message from Littlebuggles so put a post here so here goes. I'm currently deployed to Afghanistan and will most likely be on this site a lot. I plan on owning a buell if not two. I want a nice cheap beat up bike to screw around on and have fun with. Defiantly looking for a Nice Bike that wants some extreme TLC and to become my new obsession. Still doing lots of reading on what that will really make me happy. All buells have the potential to be sexy. Any way just here to say hi and if anyone want to send care packages (which are very much appreciated by myself and all my soldiers) just pm me and ill give you the address and a couple ideas of whats on the guys' wishlist. But for me the biggest thing i could ask for help with is I'm looking for a bike or bikes in either the Texas area or Kentucky Tennessee area. As well as track school info for around Tennessee.
