This is Sue....... Mom/Marilois/Mel/Auntie M/Grandma J/Ma Bueller's daughter!!!!
What can you do, you ask? :-) Send a piece of mail to Mom/Marilois/Mel/Auntie M/Grandma J/Ma Bueller!!!! She is struggling with sending emails.......... I'm sure mostly because she is so doped up on morphine, methadone, larazascam and other names I can't spell or pronounce. Mel can look at her incoming emails (with some help from us support peeps), but receiving some snail mail to open would be greatly welcome! Send a card, send a picture, send a little bobble, send a flower, send a cookie, send a hug!!! And then send another one!!!!
The mailing address for her is:
Hospice of Kitsap County ATTN: Marilois "Mel" Johnson, Room 103 570 Lebo Blvd Bremerton, WA 98310
It's been our honor over the years to come to the aid of several family members here on BadWeB, and now we're asking for two favors in return.
My Mom - Ma Bueller to all y'all - came down with a case of excruciating abdominal pain on Mother's Day, so bad that she was ultimately admitted to the hospital. After several days of diagnostic tests, we got the worst news possible: She has stage IV metastatic colon cancer.
She's been under hospice care since, first at home, and now "in-house" with Hospice of Kitsap County in Bremerton, Washington, USA. Sadly, the only treatment available to her at this point is palliation.
This may sound odd to those of you not in the loop, but all in all she's doing "OK." She - and we - all know what's coming, but thanks to some tweaking of her pain medication regimen she's got pretty much full control of her mentation again, and is doing her best to enjoy every second she has left.
This is where y'all get to help. She loves hanging out on the internet and has graced our pages here on several occasions, but for several reasons this tool is mostly beyond her grasp these days. However, she still loves to receive snail mail.
Here's our first favor, and I'll let my Sis Sue, via an e-mail she sent out this afternoon, do the talking:

Thanks, folks. Here's a very moving video tribute my son Wade recently produced and posted on YouTube for his beloved Grandma J. The audio begins at about the 30-second mark.
Glad to see MaBueller's story on BWB. It's been hard not to make a call out to this community but knew that Ferris would when the time was right. For those of you in the "WE LOVE MaBueller" pic you'll be glad to know she has it in her hospice room. Kim and I will be out and about this weekend and we'll be happy to repeat step one.
Jerry , very saddened to here about your mother . My mother just had a baseball sized tumor removed from her colan . It is cancer , chemo starts in 2 weeks .
Please give Ma a kiss for me and will be dropping something to her tomorrow .
Here's a pic of MaB and her primary medical doctor, Dr. Joe Johnson, early on in this deal (early June), when she could still (with a LOT of assistance) get out and about:
Mom was still pretty robust at this point, mentally sharp, and ambulatory (albeit very slowly and with the aid of a walker).
These days she's pretty much confined to her hospice room, so please keep those cards, letters, flowers, little bobbles, cookies, and hugs coming.
