I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for their help over the years on this forum. The clowns at HarLee made us the next Norton so as time goes on this site, the site's sponsors and the membership will become even more important to help us keep the old things going. Next week I plan on getting my beautiful X1W back on the road and then it's time to finish up my mutant S2. Good times! |

I intend to wear mine out before no more parts are available. Then I plan to hang it on a wall as the piece of art it deserves the respect for being. Fifty years from now who would not like to find an '06 Uly with 100,000 miles on it, in otherwise mint condition, hanging in an office or a den somewhere. |

Funny you mention the wall hanging. I had thought that is exactly what I'd do with the racebike when I finally "hang it up." |

Well I'll keep my XB as long as I can get parts to keep it running. BUT I'm hoping Erik Buell Racing is up and running well enough to have bike us poor working slobs can buy before that happens. I'd love to have a 1190RS but the only way I could get that kind of scratch at would likely end me up in the jail house when I got caught! |
