Dick Fish lost his life during a Long Distant rally, "Good, Bad and Ugly" event in Montana. Dick entered the "Big Dance " (IBA 11 Day) on his Buell Ulysses a couple of years ago. He will be missed. http://www.dragbike.com/dbnews/anmviewer.asp?a=662 7&z=13 |

i was shocked to read this the other day he was passionate about racing, sponsoring walt sipp in AMA and AHDRA as well as putting up the money to sponsor a race at tulsa and a class for the whole year. he will be deeply missed |

met him in the pits at Daytona. I can't tell you how much I think this sucks. From the short time I got to speak with him... it was easy to tell he loved motorcycles... It was easy to tell the challenge of putting a bike on the grid at Daytona put him on cloud 9.... Motorcycling will miss him |

From the article: "Perhaps his most significant accomplishment was a 21-day, record-setting ride from Prudhoe Bay, Alaska on the Arctic Ocean to Ushuaia, Argentina, at the end of the road in South America." HOLEE-CRAP! RIP |

As many friends . . . Ron Major and Fran Crane . . that I've lost to long distance riding . . this always hurts. I'm sorry to hear this and will have him and his family in my thoughts and prayers. |

Sorry to hear this. A valued resource for sure. My wife says maybe Dick was having a heart attack while the accident was occuring. (Message edited by two_seasons on July 28, 2011) |

Never met him, however the little I have read about him he sure was/is a true idol. I would like to achieve half of what he did in his time here. RIP |

Yessir, he was a true Buell fan. I also met him it Walt's pit in Daytona a couple of years ago. I doubt HD's closing of Buell impacted the feelings of any of us as much as it did him. RIP Dick Fish. |

We lost a great asset to the riding commumity Riders like Dick are the ones new riders should spend some time with. They would be safer and enjoy riding much more. Condolencess to his family and friends |
