Something I've noticed about parking here in Germany. I've noticed that it seems if you are on a motorcycle you can park just about anywhere, sidewalks or otherwise. I've never seen a motorcycle use a parking garage or paid parking space. Is this allowed in Germany or is it just one of those things that no one worries about? | ||

as long as you don't obstruct anything major you can park pretty much anywhere. I can think of 1 ticket in over 10 years of riding there. You also split lanes and it is accepted that you are quicker from A to B in a dense city than with a car. I remember the first time I rode to the front of a stop light in SC, passing 10 waiting cars. It is dangerous over here..... :-) |
