There's a lot more money than just that little measly bit that is handed out. Don't get me wrong... I'm all for being a humanitarian when we can afford it. I just wished we could shut all the bleeding money spouts off for a few years and get ourselves straight before we start handing out millions of dollars to folks. Perhaps we need different elected leaders. Something is going to have to give here pretty soon. |

What right does the government have to to give humanitarian aid on our tax dollars? I missed that part of the constitution... |

Article 1, Section 8 Tenth Amendment One way or another, this foolishness will stop. It begins with denying an increase of the debt ceiling. |

Next voting season they need to include urinals in the booth with the voting machine. Rig it with a single bullseye that has a little red light like the voting machine. They will not need to make any secondary lights or targets, if you piss at all.....you have voted. This way we can properly piss away our votes and feel better when we walk out of the voting place(at least if you had to go real bad). They all seem to be the same in allowing this crap to happen on their watch, so choose a looser with your bladder. |

Are you familiar with Cloward-Piven strategy? We are seeing this played out before our very eyes. The sad thing is that Obama, whom many here elected gleefully, worked DIRECTLY with the enterprises responsible for implementation of that strategy. "Netogiations" with anyone seeking to derail the implementaiton of that strategy is simply smoke and mirrors. |

At least if it is a USAID funded program, U.S. Contractors will have first dibs on the work, so at the end of the day part of the money will come back to U.S. taxpayers. Not sure of the particulars on this deal, but that's how it works with other USAID funded jobs. |

Only if all construction is done by Blackwater. My buddy does "contract work" for security firms. He's usually called in to do deconstruction rather than construction. |

Funding religious projects is good so long as its mooslim projects. I bet our christian bashers here are thrilled with this story. Defecating on christian themes=good. Pointing out mooslim extremism=bad. |
