This afternoon on a jobsite near Disney world, it was a measured 102 degrees in the shade...I carry an aluminized welding blanket to throw over my tools to keep the sun off after the last time I picked up a hot tool and got second degree burns in my palm. |

I drove into St. Louis to have an iced latte at the Kickstart Cafe. They were closing as the a/c was wonky. |

Hey Dan! We have been between 93 and 98 degrees since the first of June. I believe there have been less than four days below 90 in that time period. Humidity is at about 90% wind at less than two mph and it is now 102 in my shop as it has been for many weeks now. Ya know for sure it is hot when you cannot tell if the reason for a fart being wet is internal or external...... |

I like it like this !!! Much better than -30 degrees with the snot freezing in your nose. Too hot to ride ??????? What ???????? Just turn the engine off at traffic lights that last longer then 15 seconds... problem solved. That is what I did today. Think about all those (firefighters/ police/ soldiers) that have to wear that hot and heavy gear outside in this weather... and be glad if you are not one of them if you are not... and HTFU !!! |

It's so hot, fire plugs are whistling at dogs; cows are giving evaporated milk; I let my mule out into a cornfield, the corn started popping, the mule thought it was a snow storm and froze to death. |

The coldest winter I have ever spent, was a summer in Seattle. Mark Twain. True then, true now - despite 'global' warming, 'climate change' or depleted 'ozone' There are over 25 words in the native language for rain; and at least 13 shades of grey. |
