That ad campaign was in the news this morning. Women complained, the ads were pulled, and that's that. Damn whiny broads with their monthlies...

While most men thought the ad was funny, these ladies did not
and if the ad was not pulled, they were going to send out their Hit Squad

Affects women? Can't talk about it. Affects men? Open season. How about all of those commercials that paint the husband as an idiot and the wife as the only intelligent life in the house? Grow a pair ladies. |

Actually there is no dichotomy Ads that protray men as weak milquetoast succophants in popular rotation for minivans, homes, cereal, insurance... target marketing Ads that show women as bikini girls... relegated to male dominated sporting events Ads that protray angry anti feminist rhetoric = pulled Who do you think is driving Madison Avenue ? hint, it aint Ward Cleaver. all very consistent I did like the one that showed the 'man wrong' graph with being 97% wrong... +/- 3 % I have indeed BEEN in that relationship. |
