"Now that would be fun to race around Suches." Ummm- given that TWO as we knew it is history, allow me a correction... "would've been"... Let's hope Britt and GT find a way forward... OTOH, the nuts at the Deal's Gap store, along with the E TN sport rider's group put on a few "fiddy" races from time to time... Me want bad!! |

OK- given that I've read the entire ad several times, I just noticed that dude never prohibited a test ride. I'd wouldn't lay any $$$ on the barrelhead until I'd seen/experienced the performance. (Honda, as a company, once really did great stuff focusing on small displacement motors...) I may just have to investigate. Really shouldn't buy a toy like that, but willing to work as proxy...

you could be all cramped up like a monkey on a football with a screaming 88.... or you could get your full size adult fun on Pebbles I was trying to sell her, but I found a freight forwarding company that will let me take her with me without disassembling... I will burn through the knobbies, and put a more dual streetable sumo set up on her, and tear up Kiev Lights are mtbike units and are rechargable quick detach. I actually have to get the seat cut down, at 36 inches, it is waaaay to tall for me. |

Yeah City- still want one of what you've got... kewl to hear you can take that toy with you! There's an appeal to a stock looking Z-50, riding it like a simian humping a football at the claimed speeds tho... |

Bah! Nothing!! 'Back in the day', had a shop foreman who built a Z50 with a bored/stoked S90 motor. Displaced 110cc, made 20 hp. Used to run up Newman Blvd. [Ville LaSalle, PQ] @ 70+ mph. One day one of the shop monkeys took it out for a run, lost control @ 60 & crashed. Destroyed the mini; damn near did the same to the idiot wrench. Fun, fun, fun in the '60's....Frog style. |

I have been searching the 'net, but can't find it...Way back when, somebody took a Z-50....used a smog pump from a Porsche as a supercharger and and took it to Bonneville. Damn my fried old brain cell...I can't for the life of me remember who it was...but it went something like 125 mph or some other insane number...this was in the early '70s. |
