Fantastic, but what's with all that post production video 'grunge'? I found it non-stop strobing at me annoying. Only use that ploy if the subject matter is weak.
I agree with DD. I can't stand the strobing and grunge. Too much production not enough Erik, Geoff and 1190RS talk. Hopefully the next couple are better. I couldn't even tell what Erik says at the end due to the song over powering him. Did he say "I build bikes"? or "I dig bikes"?
Am I getting old or just tired from long hot days in the sun...
OK. Not to be H-D bashing, but I can't imagine that this machine has gone un-noticed by EVERYONE within Harley's upper management. Someone has to be squirming in their chairs, KNOWING that the future had been continuously shown to them, and time after time their approval of such products/machines would only be granted after corporate protocol had been applied to every nuance and detail, lest Buell get something that H-D didn't. And to face the true bottom line; the fact that BMW's RR1000 has become their best selling machine in North America, showing the market was there for the taking. (BTW, the 1125 platform was held in very high esteem by the engineering crew working on the RR1000, who saw the Buell as their most serious competition, from a technological and market share standpoint.) Yes, I believe that the 1190 probably will be seen in less time than anyone will expect as more than "The baddest American sportbike". Too darned bad it didn't happen five years ago........
It'll pull the younger crowd in with the flash (it IS a record label, after all...), and it'll keep us old-guy techie types interested in the bike itself.
And I believe the quote is "I'm Erik Buell....and I do motorcycles".
