Sold my harley and buell last year as a protest to HD and bought a Ducati 1200 s multi. A year and 10k mi. later I love the duck but can not use the power 90% of the time. The cal. roads suck and the duck adjusts nicely but my thought is. If I bought a Uly during the fire sale I would have a bike that can do most of what I want and keep me out of jail. Bottom line is I love the the Duck but 150 hp is overkill for keeping your license. |

I think this post is too much. I have a 1125, 146hp at crank (factory) - Its not the bike, its you (or owner rather, not picking on your exactly), you control the throttle. |

As a multiple 1125 owner, and someone who has ridden and wants a Multi, I can tell you it is no trouble at all to keep out of trouble. You could just leave it in city mode to reduce the power output a bit and make it easier on the throttle. I found sport mode to be perfect for riding the back roads near my dealer that was doing the demo days. |

Robert, You are 6 years my senior. I wont sugar coat it. Quit (you quit) twisting so hard on the throttle. Wire a strobe light into the speedo and mount it inside the wind screen. take the wheel weights of and put them on the opposite side of the rim, that'll help.
