Cleaning the garage today, found a copy of FUELL Jan/Feb 2001, not perfect, but complete. RW750, Elves @ Bonneville, etc. I have envelopes and can afford the stamps, if someone PMs for it.
Now if someone wants my RR1000 bodywork, with the extra carbon fiber tank and LSR lowers . . . . not free, mind you. I'd like to trade it for something worth lotsa money.
Id love to visit that museum on my next trip to Wis. I've heard that they have neat stuff on display, and would love to see the rr1000. Mountain - dont know if youre still up there - but if you can get to Ukes you'll love their museum too!
I think they rotate displays. I saw Craig Jones bike on the ramp inside and there was a white XB on display too. I guess 3 Buells aint bad for an HD oriented museum.
I was a little miffed that they did not put the XB or Helicon engines in their tasty engine display. But they did have a Blast engine there...
Considering the massive step up in power with the '99 on "Thunderstorm" 1203 engine I would have thought that would garner a spot too, but I guess it's just a tune Evo when all is said and done.
