It is hard to tell from the pictures, but it looks like the frame is still in tact, it might not be hard to put it back to stock. |

"it wouldnt be easy but not impossible. what i dont understand is why these people think a chopped up buell is worth 5k." Depending on the way it's chopped and the model Buell, that is the only way they will be worth ANYTHING. I have a chopped XB9R that I bought with a salvage title for 1200 bucks and it was far cheaper to chop it than restore it. It's also worth 2X chopped what it would be worth stock. That craigslist bike looks like hell though.

That's what a chopper should look like...retro. Nice work. |

The one on Craigslist looks like it would be painful to ride any distance at all. Forward controls on a seat that low and bars that far up...every extremity will be stretched to the max unless you're 7'8". The one below it on the other hand looks nice. |

That's... SOFA KING WE TODD ED. Come to think about it, it's downright depressing to think of ALL the horrendous "custom" stuff- paint, stretched swingarms, fat tires, on and on- and the sheer $$$ these 'tards spend to try to make themselves and their "rides" "kewl". (Just think of all the GOOD stuff one could do with all that $$$...)
