I am away from home and forgot my manual. My oil filter is full, then how much more? |

I'm pretty sure it's 2.5 Quarts, total. I've put in the recommended amount in my 2008 and ridden it a bit then checked it seems like it wants the last half quart up to a total 3 though. I would suggest adding two full quarts beyond what you have in the filter and idle it for a bit. Then check it. I would wager that should get you close to the "add" line. Too much oil = puking out into intake Not enough oil = running hotter No oil at all = walking home |
