Anybody got any direct experience with a Trikke or similar vehicle. They look like fun and a good workout, but nobody I know has one.

I'd appreciate any feedback on your experiences with one.

I haven't. But the Cop on the "police" version on their homepage is funny as hell. I've seen popo's on mountain bikes, and give them some cred, they are great for beach and some Urban patrols. But seeing one on a Trikke just makes laugh! They can't be practical for police work, limited terrain ability, bulky / cumbersome, etc, etc... I wouldn't run from one though, not on foot anyway. I would HATE to have to tell people I got run down by one of those things!

Thanks all. They look like fun in the late night infomercials but it seems like the only way to confirm that is to buy one. I'm not that curious... I'll stick with my mountain bike.
