I am so sickened by this, I was at my mothers this weekend, she had the Communist News Network on all weekend for background noise... Me: Mom... Me: Mom... Me: MOM.... Mom: What? Me: Can you turn that down? Mom: What? Me: Can you turn the TV down? Mom: What? I had to listen to the drivel all Friday and Saturday, I left Saturday afternoon before lunch because I couldn't stand it any longer. It sells commercials, that is all. The real story is China selling dollars and buying gold, the EU and Germanys reluctance to bail out Greece, and a dozen other truly important stories. But the American people are being lulled to their ruin due to their inability to think, and will someday awaken from their slumber suprised to find themselves in chains. Congress persons, are like lawyers, they all are without souls, and worthy of tar and feathering. | ||

Congress persons, are like lawyers, they all are without souls, and worthy of tar and feathering. I have needed legal assistance, I have had the assistance of 2 different excellent lawyers. Lawyers provide a service Politicos, produce nothing, are provided expansive benifits, from the public coffers, lately they seem to do things that are counter to the long term public good. Not to mention either are engaged in activities that are illegal or border on it, Weiner were he not a congress man would likely have been arrested fro soliciting sex from a minor...(pix to 17 yr old girl) The Politicians have lost sight in some cases that they are in the state houses and washington to serve, not be served. IMO we need to get our house in order, 10% jobless, 2 wars, dwindling manufacturing, skyrocketing debits to less than friendly forign nations, porrus borders, dependence on forign oil, and we are engrossed with the personal activities of a over paid pervert whats wrong with the picture? } | ||

A lot. Worse yet . . . you are describing the overt and visible symptoms . . .not the causes. These folks are lazy, have no self of self reliance and they, like many of their constituents have come to believe that someone (that'd be you and I) owe them something. The longer we delay until this stuff is dealt with the worse the medicine is going to taste. For a sense of what we face . . . just watch one of the many videos of Gov. Chris Christie talking to the folks from the teachers union. He was asking for almost nothing from them and they, with out delay and doubtless out of habit, launched into him, his family and began scouring his background for a "weiner moment". Ignore, for the moment, the content of the teacher video and just want the dynamics . . watch the look on that ladies face when he tells her that is she hates her job that much that perhaps she should get another job. Recently there has been an illuminating experience as a friend has had to deal with a variety of vendors around the world in pursuit of an intensely complex project that requires a strict schedule and high performance. An alarming pattern developed . . . . . most the companies dealt with the complexity, difficult deadlines, did what was needed to meet commitments and make good on promised and contracted obligations . . . there were a couple that treated promises, commitment and integrity like a suggestion . . . if it worked great, if not . . . so what, other people will tolerate our crap and do business with us. The geographic pattern among responses was alarming. Scary too was the governments waring the other day . . . .that unemployment could stay hovering around 10% and inflation on the rise through 2024 . . . absent some substantial and immediate change. When you are deep in financial shit . . . "cash for clunkers". . . . tax rebates for Chevy Volt's . . . and spending a couple million to watch a shrimp on a treadmill or figure how many beers it takes a Virginia fraternity boy to demonstrate increased interest in sex is . . . . . well . . not poor judgement it's stupid. While they've fooled many folks into believing the rich, not the government, is the enemy the rich have been withdrawing (you'll recall it is the "rich" (defined by Obama as anyone making >$150,000/yr) who create jobs. . . . getting out of businesses and moving production other places . . even as the government tries (See Boeing cased) to prevent this by illegal means and manipulation of the courts. Many of the rich are packing and leaving. We deserve better leaders. | ||

Is a solemn promise made on this persons soul worth anything? If not, how can I trust them to keep their word, not steal money, or violate the Constitution which they ( and I ) took an Oath to uphold and protect? ( he's an employee. It's my country, and my taxes that pay him. Yours too. ) It's entirely possible that the spouse could care less if Rep Whiner screws around. Maybe they have a deal where she gets to do the pool boy, ( or on this case a Secretary ) and he can do as he pleases. ( yea, I just implied He's a "beard" I have no proof, don't care ) I have issues with insisting that the wife come out and tell us they have an open marriage..... So I won't. ( not my business ) Result. If you cheat on your spouse, you MIGHT not be a piece of scum. But the odds are high. I pretty much doubt your word. 2. If the sex antics of the person hurt others. My standards are "Consenting Adults". I'm not really sure that sending pics online to someone falls in the same category as walking around flashing your little bits at girls to get a thrill. There is not the SAME fear of assault involved. Usually. If it's a "friended" person who knows where you live? Hmm. Flashing the little bits in public should get you put away. Argue how severe the punishment should be or has to be to get you to STOP visually assaulting others all you wish. Don't flash a girl near me if you can't run faster. The girl who got the little bits photo apparently didn't ask for it. I'm not sure how upset she was. But Rep little bits then lied for a week and blamed others. He's scum. You can't believe a thing he ever says, and that should be the basic introduction each time he is in public, and each time he's asked a question. "Congressman, We know we can't trust a thing you say, but I have to fill air time so give us todays probable lie." Or "I know you're going to lie, but how are you going to vote on the bill you just lied to us about?" Pretty sure he'll be angry, but won't feel a hint of shame. You have to have morals to have shame. As to the Class Envy techniques used by this admin. ( and Hitler, and Stalin, and Mao, and Pol Pot ..... ) We certainly can get more tax money from them rich bastids! Let's see how much. | ||

That's a pretty amazing video. . . . I'd sure be eager to hear any comments as to where it may be flawed. My personal "eye opener" was when a cohort of my wife packed his toys and decided not to play anymore. Read up on Stanley Druckenmiller . . . . smart guy who was creating billions in wealth, giving hundreds of millions to charity and creating jobs at an amazing rate. Not long after he saw the writing on the wall . . . he announced he was cashing it in and headed home to Connecticut. I find the video eerily accurate and consistent with what I am seeing. . . . we paid 55% in taxes last year. I'm eager to see how much more someone thinks we "owe". | ||

It is beyond puzzling why the Left, including some who post here, can't grasp the fact that the policies of this Administration in particular and Congress in general are simply incapable of fiscal responsibility. It is as plain as that booger hanging out of your nose. The polls taken in Weiner's district show that the majority support him and say he shouldn't resign. I am beginning to believe that we are beyond redemption if we can't even grasp that his behavior is immoral and he is a malfeasant. Apparently, draining the swamp only refers to non-Democrats. When will the Left awaken from their fantasy dream state and join us? It happened in 1984 and our only hope is that the Left will admit that it is in denial. Waging class warfare is a distraction that will only cause the Middle Class to further erode. We are on the road to financial ruin and that leads to dictatorship. Dave - I'm LOOKING in Christchurch, Melbourne, possibly up North - Brisbane or Gold Coast. Finding we're less and less willing to support this nonsense.
