What? Not enough banjos for you? Its not that, its just that its terrible music. I think a big part of it, for me, is vocals, I hate that dudes vocals. Music isnt as terrible, but the frontman kills it for me. | ||

The band is good, the musicians are good,.. the singer is good... Godsmack does rock... but this particular version of Good Times Bad times...sucks, as do most all covers of it or any other Led Zeppelin tune from an established band. And...everyone in the video looks too happy. lol | ||

Yes Godsmack does rock and I will be seeing them at SPAC on August 19th with Five Finger Death Punch, Skillet and a few other bands I never heard of. Should be a good show. | ||

Voices like Plants just grate on me after a while. I am not a huge fan of Sully's voice either, but I was glad those falsetto voices died with '80s -'90s pop metal... | ||

As a fan of both Led Zeppelin and God Smack , I love the cover . It was part of a tribute LP that a lot of other bands contributed to . Guess some people gotta hate for the sake of hating . Or they could just change the channel | ||

Guess some people gotta hate for the sake of hating the Led Zeppelin covers suck ...as does any other cover of any other Led Zeppelin tune by any other established band. PERIOD. you can get any band to do any Led Zeppelin tune and polish it all you want,..even sell a cazillion cd's of it... it will still suk. some people just gotta like for the sake of liking..... | ||

The problem is people are to argumentative... The post was showing that a member of Godsmack is a fan/bueller most threads turn into crap. That's why I stay out of anything that pertains to money, religion, politics and strongly opinionated subjects... I have better things to do with my time than get into a pissing contest. Like going for a nice long ride on the twistie back roads... Speaking of riding I have to leave for work it is 82* and not a cloud in the sky time to fire up the Buell!!! Later bro's!!! | ||

yea... your right, and i read into it too much. GO BUELL!! (but I am still correct about the cover thing) 80% of the time I am not argumentative...example: the other day I got into a huge debate/argument with my girlfriend (who happens to be large) about that new chocolate milk law in LA schools because kids are getting too large. And she aggrees with the law!! (It is a useless law and totally wrong IMO) We both got very loud to get our points across, haha it was fun. We each think we one the argument. PS: 79 degrees & sunny, but I can't ride cuz my back hurts. | ||
