Does anybody know the proper way to repair carbon fiber?

I bought one of the American Sport Bike larger wind screens for my XB12Ss on ebay this winter for a really good deal. Of course it was too good to be true. The previous owner had added another set of holes above the mounting holes already there, then tried to patch in the lower holes.

I removed the "patch" work that was there to be able to mount it to my bike with the right holes.

Now I want to repair the extra holes. The previous patches were very brittle and easy to break off. How do I fix it so this isn't the case? Because of the extra holes, I will be painting the screen black to match my bike. So, looks aren't that important, I am looking for durability.

Thanks in advance.

Fiberglass rosin! Tough and flexible. Or, if you dont want to mix a bunch of fiberglass for a few little holes; Gorilla glue. You will have to sand the area flat after gluing, as the Gorilla stuff expands, but it will be forever. Then paint.......

on non structural carbon fibre panels fill the holes with non expanding epoxy.

We use Mil spec 9309.

then sand and paint

+1 on the epoxy. Make sure you have something as a backer that wont allow the epoxy to run out the other side and make a big spoogy mess.
