I was shopping for a new pair of summer gloves, and noticed the bike on the banner at the top of their homepage: Pretty cool! http://www.heldusa.com EDIT- Yes, and the chick's pretty hot too! (Message edited by Hughlysses on June 11, 2011) |

I have been a big fan of held gloves for some time. Expensive but awesome product. |

>>>>Expensive but awesome product. Dead accurate and worth every penny. I fell off tricycles and swing sets enough as a kid that I know the innate human reaction . . throwing out one's hand to break a fall. The only thing more expensive is saving a few bucks up front. |

Expensive but awesome product. I'd been through a lot of different motorcycle gloves before I finally broke down and bought a pair of Helds and they're definitely worth the money. I just wore out my last pair of "reasonably priced" summer gloves and I'm thinking I'll get a set of Held summer gloves as well. |

Anyone have any experience with their jackets? I need another leather jacket since some stole mine last year |

I haven't tried their jackets, but I'm sure they are worthy. There was talk a few years ago of moving (some of) their operations to Asia, but I'm not sure it happened. Just something to check into... That being said, I bought my first pair almost 5 years ago and they have been my primary glove since. I've even track tested them one fateful day at Summit Point 3 years ago...still PLENTY functional to the point I use them daily. FWIW, although I didn't have time either consciously OR subconsciously to put my hands down, they still contacted during the tumbling from ~75 mph. I picked up another set a few months back, but I don't plan to use them quite yet. Most of my friends wear gloves in the $60-$90 range, but they need annual or bi-annual replacement. Try using them for 5 years with a serious thrown into the mix. Better yet, don't... Another Held user for life here. |
