Pure race simply means: I bet I am faster than you and I'll prove it. It's simple but pure and it's why we do it. If you don't get that little kid on Christmas morning feeling on a motorcycle or Elation when your trying to go fast as you can well even when your just plain riding then maybe you might want to take up curling. The IOM brings out the guys who want to Prove it not always grab a corporate check and get a paddock girl well strike that I'll go for the paddock girls as well but thats how I feel. |

Brumbear, I just don't get that feeling on public roads, on account of I don't ride like I'm racing on public roads. Be careful out there. Take it to the track. |

Personally I don't care if 99% of the riders die on that course, I still would dream of ripping it up, and if I ever get the chance I will do just that. **Note "care" meaning to me it wouldn't matter the cost to me if I were to race it, of course I care if people die, not glorifying death or uncaring about the fallen, I just wanted to be clear on that point. I hope this race never stops being run, it is, above all, my favorite time of year when it runs and when I get to see the action on HDTheatre. |

We'll have to arrange a Badweb members IoM trip one year. You all chip in to buy a few cheapish bikes, & I'll trailer them over, then you can all fly over & take turns riding. Oh & you'll have to kidnap Blake & drag him along for the fun. I pretty sure, if he attended & talked to the people involved, which is very easy to do I might add, he'd adjust his opinion. |

I think I know where we could borrow a couple or three bikes for the TT. (Might have to indemnify the owner/s against damage though) I'm thinking a Duke 750, an old (old) Bonneville & maybe a Kawasaki 1000. I can't afford to go there next year but after, who knows...... PS: If Blake attends I'll pay for all his entry tickets! Chris C |

Well I'd have 2 bikes to take, with Trojan's help we might find a few more. Could be a fly & ride gig. Have to rent a house though cos I'm too f****n old & knackered for camping. |

It is certainly worth thinking about. I like the idea of a house rental. We could prolly get one actually on the Mountain course & watch the TT from the front garden. Chris C |

S: If Blake attends I'll pay for all his entry tickets! Now that's a good offer, except there is no entry fee! There is a ferry ticket however, that pretty pricy! |

I realize the racing is free to watch, that's why I offered to pay! Unfortunately, I can't afford to pay for his ferry ticket. I am willing to give swimming lessons if necessary! (LOL) Chris C |
