- If your buddy is too drunk to stand up - let alone ride, you may transport him home.
- If there is no other option but to pick up a bike from the shop, you also may transport him, but appropriate separation must occur - the only acceptable contact is with the helmet.

One more: Your on a run out in the middle of no-where and one bike breaks down. May transport broke down brother to nearest gas station / store / safe place.
I was riding to Sturgis with a friend. We arrived at the campground and set up. He was complaining about his Yamaha's handling so I took a look at his bike and found the front tire had a big baseball size knot sticking out. We removed the wheel and strapped it on the back of my tour pack on the Harley. All 260 lbs. of him got on the back seat and I jumped on. I had to lean forward for two reasons, I didn't want to touch any of his parts and the damn thing wanted to wheelie!! While making a left hand turn through an intersection some biker yells over, "she's a cutie!" My friend didn't hear him and asked what he said and I told him to never mind, "if I tell you we will have to run him down so you can kill him."
I got pulled over with two girls in my truck once. The cop had me come sit in his car. Then went on to tell me how ugly the two girls with me were. I just didn't get what he was saying.
My best friend had a Norton. So he got some rides on the back of my GT380... Lucas, you know. Massed 260+. One day I took off a little hard down East Avenue. Wheelied a whole block at 30mph, just like in The Gumball Rally. Front wheel 2 feet off the ground and him screaming behind me.
I got really good really fast at hauling a big passenger, which has let me also be good with a small one, I hope.
My old GS1100E was easy to just ride out from under a passenger, and the Cyclone is even worse, so I like some contact for feedback. Girls I ask to hold my waist and if they want to lean forward on me, that's fine. Experienced passengers ride right along with you and mostly I want them to just relax and sit there.
Seldom give guys rides, I ask them to grab the jacket on the sides and just sit there like a lump.
Had a buddy steer from behind almost 30 miles when I was taking him to get his bike at the shop. After a while I just let him. ( I kept us from actually going off the road, and handled the low speed stuff, but let him lean the bike, sometimes franticly, most of the way down the highway.... )
