Ever since the world ended today I feel so much better. Like the weight of the world has been lifted from me. Oddly the afterlife still includes the usual family routines of cooking, cleaning and taking the kids to their various activities. I was sort of hoping for a bit more, I don't know, non corporeal-ness. But I can live with it. Best of all the motorcycle is still there in the driveway. I was a little worried about that. My ears are ringing today... But I suspect that might be because my wife and I 'passed into the afterlife' a couple rows from the stage at the Jason Aldean/Eric Church/JaneDear Girls concert. | ||

You can pretty much guarantee that if there is a date for the rapture set, it ain't gonna be that day. I rode the Mdeuce and enjoyed the beauty of the day God provided. If the rapture happened, I was good with it. I suspect it will be impossible for anyone to slip into the afterlife and not be able to tell the difference. | ||

I'm thinking that the rapture did happen and like 17 people were taken up to the Mothership or Vahalla or Heaven or Elysium or early 90's Seattle. The rest of us have to go to work on Monday. | ||

I almost got raptured last night around 9 PM Eastern Time. I was heading home after a most excellent mocha smoothie, minding my own business, thinking about nothing... and this low rider 1980 something black Chrysler (bow chica bow wow) darts out right in front of me from a side street with about 15 feet between me and it... Fortunately, I had just had the espresso and I was wired and ready for action... I was only traveling around 35 mph... I swerved to the right and braked hard and missed hitting him T-bone style on the back end of his trunk. That is not something I care to repeat !!!  | ||

My problem now is I have to restock my bourbon supply. Gotta stock up for the next rapture. I will get wasted again, don't care about the waisted bourbon, thats an acceptable loss. On a bright note, I get to restock with something good. | ||

For clarification purposes only: I did not state that Jack Daniels should be mixed with Croaker Cola. I questioned that if it were stored in in a (otherwise empty)Coke bottle (which is wasp waisted), would it be considered Waisted. If the Jack was mixed with Coke, that would definitely be considered a waste | ||

I got a bottle of Jack that was given to me, have had it for about 15 years now, I won't drink that swill, but still can't waste it, figure someday I will find somebody with poor taste to give it too. Bulliet, Makers, Knob, Buffalo Trace..... There is a long line of good bourbons to waste time on Jack. JMHO....YTMV |
