Grandfather gave me my first shots of whiskey when I was 5; dont ever wreck a good drink with coke or ice; 'but it burns' then you know it is working Crazy old Senior Chief, got me into guns, booze, motorcycles, and the military. I miss those times.

Nah - the 'national drink' is beer. I've been quaffing Canadian Whiskeys lately. Usually with Dry.

Jameson is another bottle that was given to me, and after trying it I know why they gave it away. It wasn't even good in my coffee. Danger Dave, Pendelton is a great Canadian Whiskey. Not a bourbon snob, but I like good whiskey, gin, rum and beer. (Message edited by cpeg on May 23, 2011) (Message edited by cpeg on May 23, 2011)

50,000 Irishmen yell...."Noooooooo!" Each to their own, I suppose. It's all good! (I don't drink whisky, whiskey, rye, scotch, or bourbon but I have been told that the two Scot's & one Irish are considered premium brands.) Warm weather's coming. Time for settin' on the front porch sipping some mint juleps. Woodford Reserve, of course.

Nobody grinds an organ like Elena got hooked on them after 6 String Samurai, followed them to all the NW shows the 99=2000 season. Great times. I would love to see them in Moscow.

Strokizator, +1 on the Woodford Reserve! I'm a Tennesseean just like ole Mr Daniel, but Woodford makes Jack taste like kerosene. My dad goes one step beyond and has a stash of Basil Hayden's

Woodfords what I brought home today. Jack don't need anything to make it taste like kerosene, it does that all on it's own.

Scotch has flavor like a symphony, or at least a good bar band. Irish single malt tastes like a single clear trumpet note. taste is taste. I've always been amazed at women that can't stand beer, but drink Jack. ( must like Kerosene )
