Being a new owner ,unfamiliar with buell (S3T) idiosyncrasies I thought nothing of watching my fuel cap dance about at an idle. I rode to work in the rain and parked the bike in the rain . I got done work and rode home (noticing no issues at this point) . Upon arriving home I removed the lettering from the tank and WET SANDED the paint. At this point I had issues to say the least. I have it all sorted out now but if I had just thought to tighten that nut and secure the cap earlier.......![; )](http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/clipart/winker.gif) |
